The Gaelscoil Na Laochra Birr project involved the design and implementation of a modular school, providing a modern and efficient learning environment tailored to the needs of the institution. Acting as Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design Consultants, we carried out extensive analyses including overheating, ventilation, and lighting to ensure optimal comfort, air quality, and energy efficiency within the modular framework. The building was thermally modelled using state-of-the-art software to ensure optimum design results. Our work also included compliance with Part L building regulations and delivering a Building Energy Rating that met sustainability standards. This project exemplifies innovative modular construction, blending functionality, efficiency, and adherence to modern educational and environmental standards
